On July 8th, ACA/NE submitted testimony to the Massachusetts Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure in opposition to legislation that would require residential HVAC contractors to obtain a refrigeration license to perform work on refrigerant systems under ten tons.

The ACA/NE Planning Committee and ACA/NNE Leadership Group are ready to get back to in-person meetings after a long and arduous pandemic.
The first event schedule is the Annual Golf Tournament. This popular event will be held at Red Tail Golf Club in Devens, MA, on August 20th.
Golf sold out early on, but the Tournament still has several sponsorship opportunities available, and volunteers are still needed to help out at registration and the hole contests. Click here for more Golf Tournament information.
In October, ACA/NE and ACA/NNE will host Service Roundtable for an Allocating Overhead and the Power or Pricing Seminar. The Seminar will be part of an October 7th Northern New England Reboot Meeting during which members will engage in a Chapter Update and Membership Planning Session.The ACA/NE Seminar will be part of an October 8th Dinner and Networking Meeting.
Plans are also underway for an ACA/NE December Dinner Meeting, a November Residential System Design Class, as well as a Technical and Management Conference for both ACA/NE and ACA/NNE for early in 2022.
