Family, Steady Income and Laborious Work was Walter's Motivation

When asked why he made the career change to the HVAC industry, Walter House's story was familiar to those who have made the same move into the trade.
"We all have different reasons for a career change but mine was simple, my family.
I was working in the restaurant industry with late nights and no guarantee of a steady income due to my livelihood being based on tips. With a kid on the way and being a newlywed, my wife and I had opposite schedules so spending time together and planning our family outings was hard. As you get older you realize how important family is and how much I wanted to be present, I knew it was time for a change.
I always liked laborious work and had dipped my toes in the HVAC field a few times, so when I went full time, I was ready. There is always something new to learn with new technology and different approaches; it keeps HVAC a present and exciting field to be involved in. I know the skills I'm learning today will benefit me tomorrow and each day moving forward. My wife is certainly happy about my new skillsets around the house. I am happy to be involved with a knowledgable company -- the camaraderie is very supportive and made it easy to accelerate my knowledge and skills in the field."
When asked for feedback on Walter's performance at East Coast Heating and Air Conditioning, President Peter Robitaille said, "in the two years since changing to HVAC, Walter has enjoyed the regularity of a conventional paycheck, rapid growth within the organization and even performance bonuses.
