They teach you data input, I’ll teach you what the inputs should be!
Access to a site survey form I developed over the last 15 years, along with a wealth of experience identifying ceilings & wall insulation, windows, ductwork, and all aspects of a load calculation.
Learn how to quickly identify all inputs needed for the ACCA Approved, Manual J v8 software of your choice. Please don’t guess at sizing, it better be an educated calculation!
Manual S – Equipment Selection
You have the Load Calculation, how much bigger should/can the system be?
Learn the sizing guidelines for residential equipment selection to include: A/C, Heat Pumps, Furnaces, Dual-Fuel Systems, and Boilers.
Manual D – Residential Duct Design
No more Rules of Thumb!
Learn how to calculate the Friction Rate for your job (not all jobs are .10"), including basics like Available Static Pressure and Total Equivalent Length, before diving into Sizing Duct Runs and Trunks.
