Consumer Behavior and How to Adjust Your Business Jon Carman is an accomplished sales strategist, trainer, manager, entrepreneur, and business consultant with over 20 years of experience within multiple industries including insurance, real estate, and heating and air conditioning. Jon has a unique coaching style and strives to motivate and support teams in achieving their individual and company objectives and goals. Jon possesses a strong understanding of sales strategies and sales cycles within both retail and corporate environments. Jon owned his own HVAC training business for 4 years where he trained thousands of individuals and HVAC company owners across North America on all aspects of the HVAC business. Through training these companies, both large and small, Jon has developed a deep and unique understanding of the HVAC industry in various markets across North America. In 2014, Jon joined the 2nd largest heating and AC company as the Manager of Sales training and became VP of North American Sales. He was instrumental in developing and executing a sales strategy for a recurring revenue leasing model across North America. He is currently Senior VP of Sales and Head of Training for Service 1st Financial. |

Chris started carrying tools at age 16, graduated from Minuteman Regional Vocational, and promptly entered the U.S. Marines as a Refrigeration Mechanic where he served two tours in Iraq. Returning home, he was a Service Technician, then Service Manager, before working for a MA based utility rebate program implementer as an HVAC Specialist/Trainer. An ACCA Residential System Design Instructor, Chris' experience includes consulting contractors and technicians on proper system design and duct testing – both in the classroom and in the field. Consumer Behavior and How to Adjust Your Business Tom is a 35-year HVAC industry veteran having held sales and leadership roles in all levels of the HVAC sales channel. From executive sales and marketing leadership and field sales leadership experience with an OEM (Lennox), to district management for a distributor (Allied Enterprises) and district manager over 13 service experts centers in the southeast, Tom has interacted with contractor, suppliers, and value-added service providers at both the field and corporate level. In his current role, Tom is responsible for a sales team responsible for recruiting new customers and teaching them about the emerging subscription model and delivering “HVAC as a service” to their homeowners. He is also charged with building strategic relationships throughout the HVAC industry with other value-added service providers and product suppliers. Service 1st Financial is focused on home service companies in the HVAC, Water Heater, Water Treatment, and Standby Generator trades. |
